Aqara Gateway - Smart Home Hub with WiFi and Zigbee Support for Apple HomeKit, Mijia and Sm…

The Aqara Hub (ZHWG11LM) is a mains-powered gateway that connects compatible Zigbee accessories to a home network. It serves as the coordinator for sensors, switches, plugs and other Aqara devices, allowing app control and automations while the Zigbee accessories themselves communicate locally with the hub.

The hub uses 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi for its network connection and Zigbee for child devices. Aqara’s official specification lists support for the Aqara Home and Apple Home apps. Legacy setup evidence for this exact model also shows Mi Home pairing, particularly on the China Mainland region; app and region availability can differ by firmware and market.

This model is from an earlier Aqara hub generation. It should not be described as a Smart Life/Tuya gateway, and it should not be given specifications from newer M1S, M2 or other hub generations.

Official specifications identify model ZHWG11LM with dimensions of 80 × 80 × 41.5 mm and a weight of 186.5 g. It accepts 100–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz. The operating range is -10°C to +40°C and 0–95% RH, non-condensing.

The previous description was dominated by unrelated marketplace recommendations and prices before reaching the hub information. This replacement removes those seller fragments and keeps the page focused on the exact Aqara Hub model and its gateway role.
