Aqara M version temperature/humidity display sensor

The Qingping Temp & RH Monitor M is the Mi Home-compatible version of Qingping’s compact indoor climate display. It measures temperature and relative humidity, shows the readings on its local screen and connects over Bluetooth.

Qingping identifies the M version as the model for Mi Home. Direct Bluetooth is enough for nearby phone access, while remote viewing, historical synchronization and smart-home automations require a compatible Mi Home Bluetooth gateway. Qingping documents server support for Mainland China, Europe and the UK for this product family, so account region still matters when adding the device.

The M version is model CGG1. Qingping’s specifications for this generation list a 74 × 74 × 14 mm body and CR2430 coin-cell power.

Do not confuse it with the visually similar T version. The T model uses Thread and targets Apple Home, whereas the M version is the one intended for Xiaomi Home/Mi Home integration.

Temperature and humidity monitors work best away from direct sunlight, heating outlets, open windows and other local influences that can distort room readings. Bluetooth models can be read nearby without a gateway, while continuous remote history and automations depend on the documented gateway path. These displays are intended for household environmental monitoring rather than calibrated laboratory measurement.

The local display provides an immediate reading, while the app/gateway path is useful for trends and automations. A practical setup is to watch how the room changes over several days before choosing automation thresholds, rather than reacting to a single reading. If several monitors are used, place them in representative locations so that each device reflects the room or zone it is intended to manage.
