Aqara T version temperature/humidity display sensor

The Qingping Temp & RH Monitor T is the Thread-capable version of Qingping’s compact display sensor. It shows indoor temperature and relative humidity locally and can participate in an Apple Home setup through its supported wireless connectivity.

The version letter is important. Qingping’s official documentation separates the T version from the M version: the T model (CGG1T) uses Bluetooth/Thread and is designed for Apple Home, while the M version is the variant that supports Mi Home. T, M and Lite versions are often offered side by side, so the version letter is important.

The T model uses a CR2430 coin cell and a 74 × 74 × 14 mm display body. It measures temperature and humidity for normal indoor environmental monitoring.

For a Xiaomi Home/Mi Home installation, choose the M or supported Lite version instead. This T version should not be presented as Mi Home compatible merely because it appears in a mixed available configurations that mentions the Mijia app.

Temperature and humidity monitors work best away from direct sunlight, heating outlets, open windows and other local influences that can distort room readings. Bluetooth models can be read nearby without a gateway, while continuous remote history and automations depend on the documented gateway path. These displays are intended for household environmental monitoring rather than calibrated laboratory measurement.

The local display provides an immediate reading, while the app/gateway path is useful for trends and automations. A practical setup is to watch how the room changes over several days before choosing automation thresholds, rather than reacting to a single reading. If several monitors are used, place them in representative locations so that each device reflects the room or zone it is intended to manage.
