Mijia S30 Door Lock

The S30 is a fully automatic push-pull smart door lock designed to retract and extend its lock body electrically after successful authentication. Its everyday access methods include fingerprint recognition, a keypad password, temporary passwords issued through the app, nearby Bluetooth phone access and a mechanical emergency key.

Fingerprint and password credentials are managed through the Mi Home app. The lock supports six-digit passwords and virtual-password entry to make casual observation of the real code more difficult. A Class-C lock cylinder provides the mechanical security core, while the electronic system can report conditions such as repeated failed authentication, a door left open or ajar, lock tampering and low battery.

Indoor opening uses the lock's electronic release controls, with an emergency mechanical control available if electronic operation is unavailable. The fully automatic lock body is intended to make locking and unlocking a push-pull action rather than requiring a conventional lever-turn motion.

The S30 uses AA batteries for normal operation and provides a USB Type-C emergency power input for a depleted-battery situation. Local phone communication is Bluetooth-based. Mi Home is used for device setup, credential management, status information and smart-home scenes. Remote notifications or automations beyond local Bluetooth range can require a compatible Mi Home Bluetooth gateway.

S30 and S30 Pro are distinct members of the same lock family. The public specifications here are kept to characteristics supported for S30 itself and do not promote Pro-only seller wording into the model identity. Door fit, lock-body compatibility and installation requirements should be checked for the specific door before purchase because smart locks are mechanically installation-dependent.
