Smart Vibration Sensor Detection

The Aqara Vibration Sensor (DJT11LM) is a compact Zigbee sensor for detecting vibration and changes in orientation. It can be attached to a door, drawer, window, valuable object or other surface so that supported automations can react when the object is shaken, tilted or moved.

The sensor communicates by Zigbee rather than directly by Wi‑Fi, so it needs a compatible gateway or hub. In supported Xiaomi Home / Mi Home installations, the sensor can be paired through a compatible Xiaomi/Aqara Zigbee gateway; availability can depend on the hub model and selected app region. It is also supported by the Aqara ecosystem.

The device runs on a replaceable CR2032 coin cell. Its small 36 × 36 × 9 mm body is intended for indoor use and can be fixed in place with an adhesive sticker.

This is a vibration/orientation sensor, not a temperature, humidity or air-pressure sensor. The legacy description mixed in specifications from a different environmental sensor, so those claims should not be used for this model.

For reliable operation, install the sensor within Zigbee range of its gateway. Automation options depend on the hub and app used; common use cases include vibration alerts, movement-triggered scenes and notifications when an attached object is disturbed.
